Is CAT6A right for you ?

CAT6A offers simple and cost-effective provisioning to support current and emerging applications.

CAT6A offers the most cost-effective and simple provisioning to prepare today’s buildings for current and future applications. With 10 gigabit applications starting to emerge, now is the time to consider provisioning your office/building with the right copper cabling infrastructure based on CAT6A twisted pair connectivity.

CAT6A supports the familiar, backwards compatible RJ45 interface. The RJ45 has enabled the global growth of Ethernet as we know it, and has become a universal interface for a broad range of applications.

PoE standards have been updated to double the power delivered to devices utilizing all four pairs in the cable, CAT6A provides enhanced thermal dissipation performance over CAT5e and CAT6.

Wireless networks require wires. CAT6A is the right choice to support the evolution of Wi-Fi and its need for increasing bandwidth.

Recently published, TIA-4966 recommends CAT6A for new education facilities based on the need for high-performance infrastructure required for wired and wireless connectivity.

TIA-1179 (published in 2010) recommends CAT6A for all new installations in healthcare facilities and was the first standard to recommend CAT6A for new installations outside of the data center.

Xima Software Avaya Tested on Avaya IP Office R9.1

Xima Software is officially certified and tested with Avaya on IP Office R9.1.

This includes the latest release of 9.1.4. Xima currently has a number of customers and partners that are running Chronicall without any issues on this version.

It must be verified that the IP Office is allowed to send TCP and UDP traffic under security settings.

Also, with Avaya 9.1.4 Avaya requires you to change the System Monitor password.

You must update Chronicall to match that same password.

Xima – Custom Reports Module

Xima Chronicall Standard Reports cover most areas for basic call metrics with roughly 50 reports right out of the gate.

Basically, customers get a lot of bang for their buck with the purchase of Chronicall Standard Reports, however, Chronicall Standard Reports won’t be the exact fit for everybody. That is precisely why Xima offers Custom Reports as an add-on module. The Custom Reports module gives users the ability to edit any of the existing Standard Reports or create their own reports from scratch. Sometimes customers only need to make minor changes to the Standard Reports to make them just right. Maybe they want to add a new value, filter things a little bit differently, change the summary field, add color thresholds to the data, etc. Taking all the pieces that already work from an existing report makes perfect sense rather than starting all over.

Some customers have such specific needs that it would be better to build reports from the ground up than to remove almost everything from a Standard Report.

Users can literally build their reports starting with the type of report they want such as agent, group, time interval, etc. and then add the values they want to see like call count, event duration, missed calls, average wait time, etc.

The possibilities are endless because there is so much that can be done with building custom reports.
