Recently one of the American Legion Department of Oregon locations in the Portland Metro area needed to replace their old, antiquated telephone system. They were having constant problems and needed to do something, but what ? Everyone they spoke to, had the “best” product, and the “best” service. Every solution was also way over the allotted budget. They were considering purchasing another consumer-grade telephone system from a big-box electronics store and finding someone to install it for them. Even though they knew this type of solution typically only lasts a short time before it’s outdated and there’s no one around who remembers how to work on it.
While looking on the internet for an experienced service-based company for installation services, they came upon ECS. After some discussion about consumer-grade products versus actual commercial level products, the American Legion Department of Oregon asked for a proposal. Much to their surprise, they were able to purchase not just a commercial level telephone system, they were able to afford an Avaya (formerly AT&T/Lucent Technologies) IP Office telephone system. They were overjoyed at the prospect of installing a system with the track record of reliability of Avaya.
The installation went great & they are happy. They have a new telephone system that is upgradable, expandable, and ultra-reliable. Their new system is Avaya, and with over one-hundred (100) years of experience in the industry, they’re not worried about it being obsolete any time soon. They’re also not worried about someone to service it either because they found a new technology partner: Efficient Communication Solutions, Inc. (ECS)
