Primary Server:
- • Provides call control, web portal, web collaboration, mobility, IM and presence, messaging, and centralized licensing using WebLM in a single server
- • Runs on an Avaya-provided Linux server or a customer-provided virtualized server
- • Supports 750/1500/3000 users on a single server depending on the hardware (R220/R620/R630)
Secondary Server:
- • Provides both capacity and resilience for the solution, and can be added to the Server Edition Primary at any time. The Server Edition Secondary need not be located in the same place as the Server Edition Primary.
- • Provides additional capacity of 750/1500/3000 users and/or resiliency depending on the server
- • Secondary server may also be designated as an expansion server to the primary or as a dedicated applications server
Expansion System:
- • Provides additional capacity up to 750 users at a remote location
- • Can be an Avaya-provided server, customer-provided virtualized server, or an IP500 V2 appliance (384 user limit with IP500 V2)
